My Story

when basil was brought into the jerry family there was a two year old(beth) that had never had a dog before . basil was a tiny dog..so small a two year old could hold her. they became great friends,would lay down with eachother and talk without saying anything. the girl,beth, grew up with basil and basil grew up with beth. basil loved beth just as much as she loved her. they were best friends. they cared for eachother more than anything. when ever beth would cry basil would come up next to her and howl with beth to make sure someone new she was crying.
they would even fall asleep together. but one day beths family thought to go behnd her back and keep the biggest thing from her...basil had a tumor on her chest and beth new that but she didnt know that it was a life or death situation...and her faimly desided to keep it from her...and not tell her that basil would have to be put down..so two days before basil jerrys death they told her . the biggest pain for her in the world...and she still is having trouble with it.
basil jerry died on may 4th 2007 at 11:30am looking into beth jerrys eyes..watching her cry and saying goodbye to her beloved dog,telling her how much she has and for ever will love her..and how much of a friend she has been to her
 she made a in memory of poem and kept her coller by her ashes
