My Story

Guinevere was our beloved red and white Pembroke Welsh Corgi.  Shortly after we got her we learned she had severe hip dysplasia.  We decided it was best to let her live out her life as any corgi would want to even though it might be shorter, rather than restrict her from any activity.  Corgi's are herders and love to run............so we decided against a life without running or fun.  She learned how to do some agility that our daughter taught her, she LOVED to jump into the pool and swim, she loved to chase the deer on our grounds, she loved to go to the veggie garden and eat the tomatoes, she LOVED her night night bone which was a marrow bone filled with peanut butter that she got every night before bed.  She HATED baths and getting her nails clipped and she hated going to the vet.   But she loved everything else.  She ran like lightening chasing the canadian geese off the yard.  She loved to chase plastic milk jugs that we'd rinse out with water and use as toys.  She learned to lay down and roll over so sweetly.
She finally succumb to the pain in her hips as she'd get up out of the clear blue and bite at her hips.  We had five wonderful years with her and she will forever be our Gwennie Goo.......................
