My Story

  Candy was my baby, she came into my life in April of 1992 , she was 2 months old and she was only 1lb.  she was the center of my life. She was a wedding gift from my 1st husband,  well 10 yrs later he was gone but lilcandy was still there right beside mommy's side.  Well I got remarried and Candy fell in love with her new daddy and he did with her.  she was the light of both our lives,  we got married in Key West Florida, and LilCandy was right there in her little wedding gown, that one of my employees bought her.  She loved the beach but not the ocean, because she hated a bath.  about 3 years ago lilcandys kidneys started failing her so we took her every Monday and every Thursday to get fluids, then she had a stroke, but she was a little fighter.  she went blind , but still in good health loved to go out side.  loved to go for walks, and go see mom maw.  she got to where she couldn't  go out to bathroom, so I starting buying puppy pampers, she was so cute in them.  she was the princess at the vet office, everytime we went they were like lets see candys new dress, she loved to wear her dresses and bows.  If we were running late they were worried.   well the week of June 17th, she got very sick and we took her to the vet on Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday and then they Kept her and when I didn't get a call Saturday morning I new it wasn"t going to be good when I got there.  So I get there, with my step mom and they tell me to come on back and they were crying and they said her potassium had went way to high and there was nothing they could do. My heart stop beating. I thought my life was over , This was my baby and we had been toghether for the last 18 1/2 yrs. I couldn't let go of her , I just sit there and held her and cried, I had to make that horrible decision. so I sat there for a couple of hours then I finally said she had suffered enough and it was time, so I stayed right by her side till she was gone and I kissed her goodbye and they took her and I picked out a Ern and I had her Creameated.  I miss my baby so much it still breaks my heart everyday. I do have a new one her name is lilsis.
