My Story

Lucky became our forever foster when Paul and I saw him after he was surrendered to rescue by his former owners. He was 15 years old and had been badly neglected. His coat was scraggly and his poor body was starved. He was deaf and blind in one eye and the other eye was gradually going blind too. We got him vet care and let him rest and eat and recuperate. He gained a few pounds and had a quiet, soft place to rest. His last 8 months were spent in comfort and he was loved. he is much missed!
