My Story

Molson was born from two champion showdogs and captured John's heart from the beginning. The biggest pup of the litter, Ursula was worried that he would turn out dark like his mother. "No, he'll turn out like his father," the owners had assured, pointing out Molson's beige father.

Though he may not have turned out the desired color, he was no doubt the best dog ever. Born Sukee's Molson Stole My Heart on August 9th, 1998; Molson always had a way with capturing people's hearts. Though he grew to an astonishing height and an astounding 90 lbs, Molson just loved everybody. Even Valerie, afraid of big dogs since she had been attacked by a German Shepherd, immediately warmed up to the dog. He would amuse his family with his chorus of howls and whines and his big puppy-dog eyes. He wasn't afraid to lick your face off or wag his tail and jump up and down when he was happy to see you.

Molson loved the beach and the water. He would bark at and nip at the waves as it came our way. He even broke out of the house once only to be found at the beach from across the street! He loves children, cats, and other dogs. He made best friends with a kitten named Pumkin: imagine that!

Stephanie and Richard had lots of fun with him, and even arranged a play-marriage with him and his neighborhood doggy friend! She was a black labrador and they got married in Molson's favorite park.

Molson was taught to fetch, sit, get up, lay down, heel, stay, defend, and speak. He even won an Obediance Training award with Ursula! Though not eligible to be a showdog because of his unusual height and Hip Displasia, Molson won more important things then show championships: he won the hearts of children, and of the elderly. Molson will forever be remembered as "the big baby" of the Noircent family. He is greatly missed, and only good and happy memories follow his name.
