My Story

I only had Ted for a short time but what I knew of him he was a great horse. Ted was bought for me by my now ex husband because I when met Ted one day at a friends house ,I instantly had a connection with him. Ted was an ex race horse, from Mount Pleasent Meadows. His race name was MR. Indicted, "Ted" for short. He raced only twice in his life and was too slow, so he was then used as a western pleasure horse. I'll never forget  the first time I galloped on ted, riding a thoroughbred is totally different than my quarter horse. I called him my Teddy Bear because he was so sweet and calm about everything. If I had to describe Ted in one word i'd have to say quiet. He was wise and he was careful. During the year I had him we went on trail rides. I can remember going through snow that first winter, that was to my knees while I was on his back, and that is deep snow for a 16 hand horse! My only wish is that I could have gotten Teddy bear earlier on in his life... only so I could have spent more time with him, and seen him before he started to slow down from arthritis. I LOVE YOU MR. TEDDY BEAR!!!! I MISS YOU SOO MUCH!!
