My Story

Remy Browne Austin lived a short life. She was found abandoned in a dumpster in a black trash bag originally by Ms. Laura (Jinxy) Bredeck of Haysi, Virginia and named "Browne". Ms. Bredeck did not have the resources to keep young and energetic "Browne". Eventually Mr. Randy Austin and Mrs. Melody Austin of Haysi, Virginia took in "Browne" and renamed her Remy, not knowing she already had a name. The Austin household had such love as they doted on their beloved Remy. By January of 2012 the Cumberland Plateau Public Housing Authority dictated that either the Austin's would have to give up Remy or move. The Austins moved. Remy had a larger home then she had ever known with a yard and green grass and creek to play in. While at the new home Remy even survived Parvo under the watchful care of Mrs.Melody Austin. Unfortunately the home was close to the road and Remy departed this world all too soon.
