My Story

Buddy came to us in 2008 from a shelter in GA - he was one of two dogs we adopted from GA months apart but him and our other adopted dog (Lucy) acted and looked like litter-mates right from the start.

Our "buddy" was the sweetest dog - he never met a person or animal he didn't like.. and loved his furfamily so much that he would let his brother and sisters push in front of him at treat-time and would end up being last to get his treat.

In the last week, Buddy had gottenso sick that he was no longer eating - and was not able to walk up and down stairs.... we didn't know exactly how sick he was until he went to the vet on Tuesday - and was scheduled for an xray on Friday, Oct. 15th... we had initially thought it was because of a flea/tick product  we had used - but his initial  tests showed that he was sicker than we could have possibly imagined

Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 at 5:00pm was the darkest day and time of our lives - Buddy laid down at my feet and crossed the Bridge.

Buddy will remain in our hearts forever - and we know that someday when our time has come our human family and Buddy's brother Max, and sisters Lucy and Koda - we will all meet at the Rainbow Bridge.

RIP my Buddy... my boy.
