My Story

 sasha came to us as a very underage pup (4weeks) as she was sold to us to early by a puppy farmer as we were unaware at this time.sasha developed severe fear to dogs after being attacked while on lead at 14 weeks old and 18 weeks,she went on to be fearful of people and every day noises and would spend hours hidden away in our bedroom,although she loved to spend time with us and our children and other dog ice a northern inuit . we had a dog trainer for sasha and had placed her on medication from the age of 6 months...sasha loved to be off her lead on the beach and run in and out of the sea and play fetch with her toys ,she was so loyal and never strayed from our side without even having to be taught.she loved her cuddles and to lay by the side of our bed every night and was always there to greet us in the morning  with her ever wagging tail and kisses,she doted on our children and was ready to protect them if she ever felt needed to. sasha was always there for us and would of fought tooth and nail to protect us,sasha never showed any signs of fear when she was running off lead,but went back to her fearful state when back on her lead or in the home(this was our second home with her,as we moved and her fearfulness became worse as she did not seem to settle) 2 yrs later sasha still never seemed to recover and started to lunge at people and other animals whenever they came near her ,we had than decided to ask advice from other vets and dog trainers and rspca officers and were told it was best if she was put to sleep,and on the 12/6/09 we came to the hardest decision and laid her to rest ,we have since realised this was not the right decision for us and have been very saddened by our loss and traumatised by what we had done to our beloved pet-they say you forgive but never forget but for us we will never forgive ourselves or forget what we have done we are deeply lost without our sassy and every day that goes by we pray she forgives us and is no longer in fear. due to this sad loss we have made the decision never to have a dog put to sleep for this again and will stick to listening to our heart unless they are old and in untreatable pain with no quality of life ........she has taught us love is unconditional whatever......... sorry our little baby.xxxxxx r.i.p.xxxxxx always missed and loved
