My Story

Furby was born to a stray. She was found by my aunt, and given to us when she was only a few months old. I was 3 at the time. She was a great cat, the nicest thing in the world. She would never hurt a person, but was amazing at hunting. She took everything in stride, and never panicked or got scared. She wasn't always the brightest - if it was raining or snowing out, she'd just sit where she was and get soaked or covered in snow. But she was so soft and so light that you couldn't even feel her walking on you. We still don't know why she passed away. One day, she went outside, as usual. She seemed perfectly normal. After a few days, she didn't come back. I had a neighbor put her picture in the town newspaper. It turns out she had crossed the road to our other neighbors and passed away in their yard. They buried her for us, and when they found out she was ours, they showed us the grave. We can go to visit her any time we want, and I still miss her a lot.
