My Story

We don't where he was born, but he was born to be a part of the Heisler family.  It seems he wasn't a good fit in his previous home because he always seemed to run away & got thrown into doggy jail!!  He must have know that his "real" family was out there somewhere.  It was only a matter of time before God guided us to him. 

The day we met Schmidty, we had no intention on an adoption.  As newlyweds we were only looking to get a sense of a good size puppy to fit in our new home.  Schmidty was the only dog in the shelter that day who was calm and quiet.  He had a very magestic look to him, as if to say "I don't know what all this ruckis is about.  It's just undignified!!"
